I always hear about Xrumer and have a few questions that you maybe able to help with.


  1. Whats the official site to buy Xrumer, is it $150 1 off fee or $150 per month?
  2. Are there any discounts available to buy this
  3. Is it worth buying?
  4. Do I need any other tools like Captchas, IP addresses etc?

Let me know if you have any other tips or advice, thanks guys.

2. No discount.
3. No.
4. Only good public proxies sources or provider.

Xrumer is a very complicated program. Almost 2 weeks i own it and i have to say it's not easy to learn to use it. You will need very nice number of private proxies since the public ones once in a while drop and they are useless.

Beny ? do you think it's worth the $590? are the links just forums and blogs? not sure that spam links are worth that much now.

I have and I used XRumer for a while.
XRumer is a powerful tool, able to create backlinks on forums, blogs, wikis, guestbooks, ...
It's almost unlimited due to the learning mode.

But, in my humble opinion, XRumer worth his price for company or fulltime SEO people only.
Today you "can't" rank a website only with links created by XRumer.
You'll need solid foundations (like web2.0), and a tool like SEnukeX will be more polyvalent.

Monitizing XRumer will be a hard step, unless having a VPS/dedicated servers with private proxies to sell services.

Personally I bought XRumer at 60% to have Hrefer.
This tool is amazing !

One more time, it's my opinion, I can be wrong, and a lot of people will say otherwise.

Most people consider xrumer only as forum profile creation tool but xrumer is a much more.
 
Xrumer does alot but if you dont have time to learn the tool , Keep up with the high operating costs (Needs a decent dedicated server or High spec VPS) and the proxies then its not worth it.
 
My opinion is that it is absolutely NOT worth buying unless you know EXACTLY what you are going to do with it, and that what you will be doing with it will be profitable.

The best way to do this is find something that works manually, then automating it with Xrumer. But beware, Xrumer is far from capable of doing everything and every platform. It uses HTTP POST/GET and is not browser based, so it can't deal with javascript, ajax and other fancy scripts. Botmaster does hardcode a few bits of javascript protection support, but those are limited to the specific platforms and applications that Botmaster is hardcoding for. So don't overestimate what XR is capable of doing.

Edit: remember, hrefer these days is the only decent scraper. Therefore if you are serious about SEO, even without Xrumer, hrefer is worth the price alone.
 
you kinda have to run xrumer & hrefer 24/7 and consume around 200GB per day for awhile to get a list. Unless you buy a list, but that really won't help you learn the applications for yourself.

It's complicated to use for about the first 1 or 2 months you try and use it, mostly because you need to learn every option in hrefer FIRST, learn how to scrape with it, learn it's limitations. Then you need to learn all the options and various tweaking inside xrumer, and tweak. It's all about tweaking.

Xrumer doesn't really need to be super expensive to operate. It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you want to do huge, huge blasts then yea you're going to be spending a lot per month to keep the thing going, but by that point i'd expect you've learned the ins and outs on a cheaper setup, and found something profitable to do with it.
 
As an ISP I have been selling xrumer server since 2009, and here's my observation. We have had 100's of customers in these years and only about 20% leave us and I always take time to ask them and find out if there's a problem from our side or such. And most of the time cancellation requests have comments like these

>Sorry cant make enough money with xrumer
> xrumer got all my sites delisted, I cant waste my money on server
> I will learn to use xrumer first and rent the server again.

and so on. But those who have stayed are some gurus and ofcourse reputated members and know their game pretty well

What makes hrefer so much better then scrapebox?
 
hrefer you can just set and forget, it updates proxies by itself, it has more advanced anti-ban options like cookie grabbing, it can harvest millions of links without missing a beat. So yea, i'd have to say hrefer is superior to scrapebox. (Other things include the Sieve Filter, adding your own search engines for parsing, tweaking how hrefer parses google/bing/whatever)

i agree i learn Xrumer mY self using Rent the Vps then i buy it and use it . Let Just Say Xrumer = Weapon . and Weapon is Good as the user Who WELD it . There is no Scraper Like Hrefer that can Harvest 1000s of Links in a eye blink/\

I've found that given the same proxies, scrapebox cannot scrape, while hrefer can. I think because G is more wise to SB these days whereas Botmaster manages to evade capture a lot with his update/general genius.

You can use multiple footprints x multiple keywords on hrefer, you can auto update proxies, randomize datacenters, scrape in different languages (SB does have language conversion but I have not experienced any good results from it), multiple retries/proxy switching, very fast scraping and very stable even on 1000 threads. And as above, cookie grabbing, tweaking, custom search engines etc., the sieve filter, additive words before or after keyword, and much more. For large lists, hrefer is the only viable option these days.
