yeah what's register only mode on, does that mean we have to go back and post links after email activation? how do we do that?

Register mode simply means that the accounts exclusively are registered and email confirmed.
No posting will be done by the accounts - this is what you do when doing profile blasts (which you probably do 95% of the time).

I'm currently getting too low success for custom and fresh harvest profile blast . i asked this question on botmaster official forum and some other forums too. but nobody answered.

Yes, there is ton. There are 2 limitations - your imagination and xrumer intself - sometimes its not possible to automate posting on some resources.
