xp vs vista

Vista has great features i think but to damn testy...they should have beta tested it much longer to release......XP is ....the wiNNER

i have vista and uhh some features are awesome but most i can do without. i would rather go back to xp but i don't want to uninstall/reinstall etc etc.

If it's a new rig use Vista since all new components are made to work with it fine and it is here to stay. If you're putting it on an existing rig, go with XP, less headaches and problems with older hardware.

i use vista since it came out. first i had very minor problems. those were not microsofts fault but the hardware manufactors... since sp1 and my new workstation everything works absolutely perfect... every time i sit on xp now it feels like working in the stone-ages... but thats much better than mac... cause working on a mac feels like working in the dinosaur-agees for me...

everybody has his own favourite os - some like macs - some like linux... the important thing is: you have to feel good with your os...
