Personally I love the new things you can do on Xbox One. I can be lazy and change the channels without a remote and switch back and forth on the fly without changing inputs.

Wherever I do game @ always has an internet connection so I don't mind that it connects once an hour. Hell my PC is online 24 hours a day most the time.
I've never bought a used game so I don't mind not being able to play them and I don't go to anyone's houses to play games or anything anyways. So I'm not worried about the few downsides of Xbox. I do feel bad for the others out there tho. I feel MS is going to lose a HUGE amount of customers over a few stupid ideas.

And I don't mind the price being $499. It comes WITH a Kinect so your getting 2 powerful machines not just one. It's just a $100 difference which isn't a big enough gap to justify "oh I'll just grab a PS4 it's ''cheaper'' "

Plus, for all you hardcore gamers out there.. with Xbox you can stream LIVE to Twitch.tv (and if you get enough fanbase there you could earn $$ by becoming a partner similar on YouTube) Just a thought

it comes with Kinect but most gamers don't care about Kinect. lol it was originally meant for kids.
Also I agree with you on the purchasing used games part, but XBOXOne are also disregarding the people who like to gamefly games. Forza 5 is a game I want to play, but I don't want to be stuck with a pretty racing game.. lol it's many games people are going to want to play just to satisfy urges but they are frighten at the thought of being stuck with the game. It's only about 3-4 must buy games that release per year for most people. For M$ that includes Halo.. which is the only reason I will eventually get a XBOX One.. but a PS4 first at launch. and X1 probably mid/fall 2014

Yea I understand. Idk I'm in my mid 20's and like the idea of Kinect. Voice commanding your electronics is sick. And I like the fact they can make personal trainer work out games for it and it will be more accurate now sense its 30x better than the first Kinect.

But if people are so worried about renting games and trying them out b4 they buy.. Just use YouTube and watch as many game reviews as you can. That's what I do if I'm afraid I won't like something.

All Single Player games, and a lot of multiplayer games, can and ARE moved on. Whether you get $10-$20 or even a few bucks for it, doesn't matter.
As for the people with friends, even simpler, you just buy different games and share, and in case you all play the same, you may get more copies. But it can't be forced on users.

Kinnect MAY be the future for some games, but for now, it's just an added perk, that raises the cost and adds nothing for the gamers. I'm sorry, if you want voice command for your TV for $500, you have serious first world problems.

As for the exclusive games - both platforms have those, some AMAZING titles that are supposed to sway your opinion. Just overcome the urge and you'll find that most publishers will let their own interests rule, sharing the game on multiple platforms eventually.

I prefer Playstation 4. The new console supports cloud gaming (Sony bought the Gaikai), so you can play games from PS3. I think Xbox and PS4 has the same hardware from AMD (Radeon HD 7000/8000).

Xbox one for me.

I've always used my 360 as a media center for primary use and games come second. I'm a bit pissed at the always on kinect camera, but it's nothing a bit of masking tape can't fix. I never borrowed/shared games on my 360 anyway, and given the bad press the xbox one has it's probably unlikely that I'll know anyone who'll have one to trade games with anyway, so the DRM stuff doesn't bother me either. The controller is the deal breaker for me, I just cannot get used to the PS3 controller at all and find the xbox style of control much for comfortable.

lol, just saw this image on facebook :D

Def the PS4, I am not at all interested in the XBOX 1. I mean they are charging $600 for their console!!! Xbox haven't revealed one thing that would make me think otherwise. the PS4 showed much more better features and etc.. Its PS4 for me guys.

One thing I'm curious about with the XBOXOne is will it be possible to share games digitally. I understand that you can share games with people on your friends list(30 days Min.) but they never did go until detail. That sounds like it would be cool once their game library is sitting nice.

Xbox One for me, was a Nintendo fan growing up, then moved to xbox and then 360. I just cant get used to the PS controller. I love the one for what else it can do. It can play games as well as the PS and do a lot more, And its only year one. I want the whole house automation, control everything tech that is coming in future years. Its exciting time to be alive and apart of it really. My Star Trek geek coming out haha

See this is the thing, you calling me stupid? I really fucking hate fanboys, I not buying a PS but I don't sit here and tell you how poxy your system is, its called choice, and your PS would be a lot blander place without it.
Whover buys a Xbox after what Microsoft has done is pretty stupid.

I don't have any console playing on my PC only thinking to get PS4 with 40-50 Inch HD lcd with it let's see when it arrives because i love PS some title games : Gears of war,God of war,Now The last of us ;)

I'm buying both with the money I save not buying xbox, even if it costs more in the end.

edit: it'll cost $200 more to buy PS4 and Wii U. Worth it and sends a message.

If someone gave me an xbox, for free, I will immediately sell NIB and buy them a PS4, and buy each of us a copy of some game so we could play together.
