I meant Xbox One, not Xbox 720 lol. My bad.

Now I know a lot of you may not care, and a lot who do care are loyal to one company or the other.

This is not a public poll so don't worry about voting and others heckling you for your answer :)

Which would you choose?

The Xbox One?

or

The PS4?

I personally would go with the PS4 because it's much much much much more user friendly.

Benefits I see, and most of you do as well, with the PS4 are:

1: You don't have to be online in order to play games.
2: You don't have to validate your new game within 24 hours.
3: You can share your games with anyone you want. Your game won't be locked onto your system/account.
4: The new PS4 will be just as much as the original Xbox lol. I've read in a few places that the new xbox One will be around $600 and the PS4 will be $399.

This is just my personal opinion. What do you guys/girls think?

Thanks :)

Now's the time to buy an xbox 360 :)

Just kidding. With all the used game issue, the higher price tag, the online activation issues, I would opt for the PS4.

But then again, I'm a PC gamer all the way, the only thing I ever used the xbox for was fight games, or soccer games and those can be played on the PC with an xbox controller (not the UFC games, yet, unfortunately).

I own a PS3 and I would say that it's very well better than XBox 360. Not sure about PS4. Must be great if it's from Sony :D

Agreed. Greed overtook them. Instead of moving the industry towards easier sharing to avoid piracy, they actively encourage people to go out of their ways to avoid that hungry hungry hippo that just wants to take a bite out of your wallet.

I've got a PS3 and love it.. so will probably get the PS4.

But I have to say the Xbox one visually looks better.

I'm not too fussed, I will probably end up with the PS4, all I need is FIFA 14 and I'm good lol

If you would ask me .. I am a hard core gamer , I wont use both of that two gaming platform instead I will use "high end" PC it might cost more but you can use it on Internet marketing , and trust me PC gaming is much smoother than xbox and ps4 gameplay , because xbox and ps4 if you run battlefield 4 there It would run estimatedly 50 frames per second and if you will buy high end PC you will get 120+ frames per second which is extremely smooth gameplay

* disadvantage of PC gaming
- consume higher electricity ( depends on video card )
- you will not be able to play arcade , RPG games that is available on PS4 and XBOX ( even if you have emulator)

* advantage of PC gaming
- you can use it to Internet marketing if you think your enough of games
- run all games smootly
- you can run on different monitor

sorry for being out of topic but for me XBOX one / xbox 720 and PS4 is really waste of money , but its your choice since your be the one buying the item :) cheers !

After everything I've read on r/privacy, CIABox One is simply not an option. I haven't got a slightest idea about PS4, but if I have to choose between these two, I'll pick PS4 because it simply can't be worse than Bill's mystery device. :)

EDIT: Just saw a slide from PS4 presentation on E3. Can't post images, but it says — "Disc Based Games: Trade in games at retail // Sell it to another person // Lend it to a friend // Or keep it forever". Really clever reaction from Sony.

Lol, no one voted for xbox until now. I'm a PS fan so my vote goes to PS.

I heard the xbox one is terrible! you have to pay a fee to use used games.....Microsoft is a money hunger company.

Personally I love the new things you can do on Xbox One. I can be lazy and change the channels without a remote and switch back and forth on the fly without changing inputs.

Wherever I do game @ always has an internet connection so I don't mind that it connects once an hour. Hell my PC is online 24 hours a day most the time.
I've never bought a used game so I don't mind not being able to play them and I don't go to anyone's houses to play games or anything anyways. So I'm not worried about the few downsides of Xbox. I do feel bad for the others out there tho. I feel MS is going to lose a HUGE amount of customers over a few stupid ideas.

And I don't mind the price being $499. It comes WITH a Kinect so your getting 2 powerful machines not just one. It's just a $100 difference which isn't a big enough gap to justify "oh I'll just grab a PS4 it's ''cheaper'' "

Plus, for all you hardcore gamers out there.. with Xbox you can stream LIVE to Twitch.tv (and if you get enough fanbase there you could earn $$ by becoming a partner similar on YouTube) Just a thought
