Hi all,

Most of you will know about Bit.ly's url shortening service (you can track visitors etc with them as well etc). I'm wondering if someone were to x*rumer blast my bit.ly link, would there be any benefits for the original url that was shortened? Am thinking of purchasing a blast in the near future. I thought that blasting my bit.ly link instead of my site's original url will prevent my original url as being marked as spam. I'm not sure if I'm correct so please let me know whether I am or not.

P.S I am willing to exchange decaptcher credits for x*rumer blasts. I have $20 worth of credits left.

Blasting bit.ly and other url shorteners which use 301 redirect will only help your website in rankings..

I'm always hiding my best backlinks using services like bit.ly :)

Yeah I do that because I don't want my main site linking back from spammy looking blogs etc, I rank in the top 10 for several keywords/phrases and don't want spammy blogs/forums etc to ruin it. I used to use t1nyurl.com but came across bit.ly and the awesome thing is you can track the visitors and where they came from. So have you had any problems blasting your bit.ly link and having your redirected website affected?

why not just us a buffer site and blast that instead
