WTF's wrong with Google??

for new sites its not recommended to do any SEO only use the Google webmaster tools that's are enough to make your site indexed and do some high pr social bookmarks. Further you can check your website pages status from your google webmaster tools. If there is some issue with your content or quality you will get notification and you can fix that timely.

LOL WHAT.

Go ahead and don't do any SEO whatsoever bro.

Robots.txt is fine. No issues in WT whatsoever.

I post one new page a day so I now have 38 pages, all, not just "unique" but highly original content from a top notch expert in a field - I have few visitors coming from FB / TW / Pinterest but site:site.com and WB index are still empty :)

I mean, really... they drive me crazy. At least my other website (the one punished so severely that I've lost 98% of the traffic) had its PR increased a notch. Not that PR matters at all but at least it showed me my sites still exist :)

This is thing that is completely random, trust me. Your site will get indexed, and once the things starts (1 article is indexed), all your 38 pages will be indexed within 3 days.

Google finally decided not to index any of my new posts lately both my main sites. Before it would take seconds for them to index now nothing! Worst thing is these sites are strictly white hat. I think they are just being slow the past few days.

Is this a new domain or dropped (or recently used) domain? I build a lot of websites on dropped or auction domains and it's a toss of the coin. If the domain was previously banned or punished by Google you might of inherited the penalty.

Just to confirm, you don't have the 'noindex' meta tag set, do you?

Kvmcable has a good point. Is this domain one you bought from an auction or something? Do you use a CMS?

After everything you have done and written there should be about 40-60% of pages alreay indexed if not more.

I would say its a penalty. Wait a second, did you 301 your old penalized domain to this one?

That's a good question. If it was a bought domain (auction), then they penalty may have already been there. In fact, any domain can have this if it's been registered, and then dropped.

Just give it some more time. I've had new domains be indexed with in a day or two and then sometimes it's take other a couple of weeks. And I've been in the same boat as you, some pages weren't indexed and others were.

If you're building backlinks are checking to see if your BL's are indexed?

Ping your site, this will tell the bots to crawl your site, sure you may not get indexed that same day but from my studies it does speed the process up.

Just focus on whatever your doing at this point with the site whether you're adding more content or just backlinking, just focus on that as it's always just a matter of time for your site to be fully indexed.

Patience is your best friend if you have it but your worst enemy if you don't when dealing with all this.

It is happening to everybody. I have a few websites I just built that have been very slow in indexing. Like they say in the military just hurry up and wait.

Could be you are unlucky and just caught Google during some type of big update, so their crawlers are busy :) or as someone said above - is the domain a dropped domain bought at auction, could it be carrying a penalty ?

Also, I don't think it's a good idea to blast links at a new site - not saying you are doing that, just saying

in webmaster tools, use "crawl as googlebot" view your site, hit the submit button.
works faster than pinging, and looks natural

I'd guess it's just random. I've had some indexed in less than a day and others take up to a week.

12 days does seem like a while, but if you haven't done much different than usual it's more than likely Google being quirky.

heh, Google is definitely one of the few companies everyone has a love / hate relationship with.

Exactly what's happening to me now. Same site, same everything and in the last few days nothing new is getting indexed. I've added a few backlinks, ping, G+, twit, FB Like and still nothing!

I had the same issue with one of my website for three weeks, then i discovered that Attracta (included in CPanel) created a robots.txt that led the sitemap to a blank one.
