WTF's wrong with Google??

A new website. First 30 pages of original content published. Sitemap. High value directories submissions. WT, Analytics, AdSense. Even some PR promotion started. Yet, Google still did not index it, only the home page, some 12 days since we went live? Only one page in WT index and only one page when searching site:domain.com.

That's not normal. Or is it now?

Not quite, I have a site with 3 articles, all copied. It is indexed even if it doesn't have more than one month old. No backlinks or anything except a YouTube video.

Thats okay mate. No need to hit the panic button just yet, its just 12 days since your content is live on the web. It takes time for search engine bots to find your content, especially if the site is new. Bookmarking all your urls to SB sites should help.

I'm more pissed than panicking / especially since my "big", old site got severely punished and lost 98% of its traffic / but mind you. Sitemap had been submitted on the first day and Googlebot accessed the site many times since.

Also, Bing (80% of the pages indexed) and Yahoo (40% of the pages indexed) of the pages started indexing the same day.

Grey, try to post on Google+ some of your pages (this is pretty useful trick to get indexed). When you are posting something on G+ you got almost instant-index.

I have had G+sed several pages. I also had some other people coming from the FB (I used the FB $50.00 ad credit) +ing several pages. I have FB likes, G+s, a proper Sitemap, several tweets and several pins and re-pins (all organic) already but nada in the index....

for new sites its not recommended to do any SEO only use the Google webmaster tools that's are enough to make your site indexed and do some high pr social bookmarks. Further you can check your website pages status from your google webmaster tools. If there is some issue with your content or quality you will get notification and you can fix that timely.

PING + Rss Feed your website links, and it should be indexed fast

I hear this far too often xD Just wait. I've experienced sites not indexing for around 2 weeks. Just focus on content

I think that's the normal now.. Mine took 3 days to index homepage, I did everything. Taking a week plus just to start indexing article inner pages.. Just wait it out, after all of these updates it seems like Google is taking this super slow.

Ok mate, you don't do any SEO, then! The rest of us actually will continue to do SEO on new sites.

Why do you even think that? Have you ever built a link before?

Don't panic. it really depends on the niche too. wait for sometime more ...and you ll get indexed.

Google "site:yoursite" or "info:yoursite", no quotes, and see if anything comes back.

Check your robots.txt or any crawl errors in WBT. This is not normal.

I am going with Goykos response you might want to check your robots.txt file and then use the Google Webmaster tools to see if there are any crawling issues? Its not unheard of but it would raise some concern to me but like others said its way to early to panic...just keep pressing on

Maybe Google sees too much SEO going on for such a new site. I'd hold back on doing any more backlink, bookmarking for a week.
