wtf is wrong with me

So I was in the parking lot at the Home Depot and I found a small purse wallet type thing on the ground and I picked it up. There was quite a bit of cash inside. I took it to the info desk and turned it in, leaving all the contents intact. The thing that bothers me is that I actually considered keeping the money. Although I didn't, it still bothers me that I thought about it . wtf is wrong with me?

Nothing wrong with having that thought.

It goes to show that you have critical thinking ability and explored all the options your had. In the end, you chose the best/correct option(IMO). Well done.

i got a question for you all, would you hand in a million if you found it?

Absolutely. Yes.

I'm trying to make a million dollars(more actually) on my own. I don't need to swipe it from someone. I'll earn it through hard work and ingenuity. My story will be an inspiration.

You did the right thing, that's what matters. Doing the right thing every time will get rid of the feelings of the wrong thing.

everybody thinks a lot of shitty things OP. what you do is the bottom line.

Other than having an over-active guilt complex you mean?

I was raised in a strong Catholic family. Church every Sunday no matter how hungover we were. Guilt is part of our culture:)
