WTF Ebay? Just got indefinite selling restriction for no reason? Help?

Okay so I just got MC999 on my real personal account that I've had for over 2 months now with 76 feedback at 98% positive.
The only things I have been selling lately are unbranded phone chargers, either 1 at a time, 3x, 5x, or 10x. No brand name or nothing.
That's all I've been selling in the past month and a half to boost my feedback and make tiny profits. Then today I get the indefinite selling restriction?

Any ideas why? I've only had 1 listing taken down the first week I made my ebay for trying to sell otterbox's but none sold and I never relisted.
What can I do? I've never had a claim escalated to ebay and always just automatically refund the buyer. I REALLY need this ebay account. I already have ID verified myself, over the phone personal verification, credit card statement verified and everything.

Tbh they have been really random recently. I haven't sold anything on ebay ever, just to buy goods but they put a indefinite selling restriction because they are not happy with my activity. I don't understand what is up lol.
 
I just called and found out its because I was putting 8 pin lightning cable for iphone 5, and apparently I can't use the word lightning. But still I don't understand why they can't just give me a warning not remove my selling.
 
ebay are asses nowadays... the same thing happened to me on my personal account so it made me go stealth lol
 
Ebay does not care about small time sellers, they are big enough to do whatever they please now. They have lost all human discretion when it comes to issues like this. I have given up trying with the ebay robots that read from a script. I wish I had better news, unfortunately stealth seems to be the only way around this.
 
No your right Sleek. They don't care about small time sellers. eBay will always be an unstable platform to sell on. But if done right you can still sell on eBay and learn there ways, and how they work. I currently run 9 stealth accounts, and spread out my sales. I am very very careful on my wording, and use different pictures, and never the same ones. 5 of my accounts are Top-Rated seller accounts, and over 12 months old. Even when you get good with using eBay your going to have hiccups, but you got to keep moving forward. :) You can do this man!
 
It may seem like it, but these restrictions aren't placed "randomly". You may have had an infraction prior, and most of these infractions take up to 6 months to clear. So another policy violation within that period will result to a restriction. Also, an inrease in bad buyer experience, evidenced by negative/neutral feedbacks and/or low DSRs in any of the 4 metrics will put you below standard, and ultumately result to selling restrictions. Best to contact egay and ask for the specific reason for your restriction. They will tell you up front what you need to do to lift them.

Keep in mind too that we're moving into the final quarter-- egay's busiest period. The market is a lot more competitive and buyer expectations are through the roof.
Just a bit of an insider info, egay is cracking down on sellers with history of bad buyer experience. They are doing this to identify which sellers can or cannot "take the heat" of the holiday rush.

Bad sellers=Unhappy buyers=Less business.
 
Yipes! I just glanced back up and realized you mentioned it was an indefinite selling restriction. Crap. To be honest, there's little to no chance of getting that lifted. Worth a try to call though.

Might want to consider going stealth at this point.. sorry, buddy.
 
That sucks, it's seems ebay will only let the best of the best (or luckiest) sellers prevail, if you get a negative FB from someone or make a small mistake somewhere you're throwing into the hat of names to be randomly picked and executed, fight back with Stealth.
 
You need to just make more and more stealth accounts........Ebay is turning into a nightmare...............
 
Go stealth and never give ebay or paypal your personal information if you can.
 
Even with doing everything right they will still screw you. There are too many unwritten rule that they never tell you about.

It is a good money maker but you have to know how to handle them.

The problem is you cannot use copyrighted branding in your listings even if the item is not branded. They do not like this
method and think of it as tricking people into clicking.
