A guy bought internet marketing ebooks from my website worth $200 and today he's asked for a refund, that too after a month. Has something like this happened to you ?

Get used to it

No, but seriously... firstly, the guy who bought the Internet Marketing books might already know the flaws of Clickbank. He/she knows that they could get a refund easily by just complaining things like "This product sucks, I want a refund." or "This product teaches useless crap, I demand a refund."
And bang! The vendor needs to refund him/her or that little fucker will threaten to do a chargeback.

That is why I never step into the IM niche for CB.

If you're the vendor, I suggest you report to Clickbank about this serial refunder. At least Clickbank will ban his CC number.

Welcome to the world of IM. You will always get idiots who ask for refunds. Problem with CB is they just bend over and give a refund, no questions asked - so I avoid it like the plague :)

We have to accept the fact that refund is a part and parcel of any ebooks or software we sell. Sometime refund can encourage a potential buyer to purchase the product. I guess many people buy digital products just because of the money back guarantee.

@ OP - I've had that happen to me in the past as well... you can't count your chickens until the cash is sent to your mortgage company, electric company, food store, auto mechanic, landscaping service, cleaning service and lest I forget - your wife's charge card company.

That way it's just better to pay attention to cpa, isn't it ? We don't have to deal with refunds when doing cpa.

Yup, have happened to me as well. Generally in the IM niche,
just had another $200+ refunded 2 weeks ago.

IM niche average more than 30% refund rate.

If you se ll software with activation keys you dont have to refund money if you dont write it before... or am i wrong?

That's always the drawback of dealing with CB.. if it's a high quality product why not go the CPA model.

Generally refunds have a very high percentage in IM niche. Refunds are lower in niches like health, self-help.

There are some people who are very successful at selling in the IM niche but you will never find them on Click Bank. They instead sell you hard copies like CD's and have proof of delivery and make refunds very difficult.

You will be lucky if just 30% of this niche ask for refunds. I have seen much worse. It is best that you stay away from IM related products in click bank. High gravity does not always mean you are going to have a good campaign.
