Wrongfully Banned for CSE - Need Help

My 10 year old Instagram got banned for CSE.

Appealed in-app, appeal was automatically rejected after 12 minutes. Resulting in the banning of my Instagram as well as of my facebook.

Next day, META banned all of my other Instagram accounts for "account integrity violations"

So far I have taken these actions.
1. I have filed with an EU certified out-of-court dispute body.
2. Filed a complaint with the office of the attorney general in my home state in the U.S.
3. Filed with the Committee of Telecommunications of the EU country I am residing in.

I am also working on sending META a legal demand letter.

you're already taking strong escalation steps—legal channels may be the most effective path now. Keep all records organized and stay consistent with follow-ups. CSE flags are often automated, so appeals can fail quickly. That sounds really frustrating, especially after a long-standing account.

It was a long standing account that I used for public facing modeling, personal branding and networking.
I just hope I get it back. I am on track to participate to a rather large TV modeling show and I need this account, highly doubt I will have it back by then...
 
Unfortunately, CSE flags are treated as one of the highest-risk categories internally, and a lot of appeals get auto-rejected very quickly without real human review. Once one account gets hit, Meta often links other accounts through device fingerprints, IPs, cookies, Business Manager access, etc., which is probably why your other IGs were disabled afterward.

The legal and regulatory route you’re taking is honestly the correct direction at this stage, especially if the ban was wrongful. Standard support channels usually don’t help much in these cases.

Hope you get it resolved. 10-year-old accounts are painful to lose.

That’s a difficult spot to be in, there’s usually not much you can do on the technical side once it reaches that level, so sticking with official channels is the right move

Faced identical issue old account banned then all linked accounts hit for integrity violations.
Appeal system feels automated with no real review so I’ve escalated legally.

I'd imagine you have not heard back from them although you've escalated legally?
I haven't heard back from them from any channel I have filed with. Although to be fair my filings with the EETT and the Attorney General are very recent.
 
I'm interested in this. If not by disputing through legal action, the only other way to use instagram is with mobile data/proxies and new email? Cause I got this ban, created a new account, told me followers to follow me on there, and then after having 2 posts, with each like 20+ likes already, i got banned again.

Not surprised, META's new AI agent is quite advanced, except for when it comes to actually recognizing legitimate threats...

Since you're sure that you were wrongfully banned for this reason...

You should keep in mind that it's possible you were maliciously targeted by a co-ordinated mass-reporting effort by some people (or someone with access to multiple accounts)

It happens, people are wicked.

I hope you get a positive outcome.
 
It seems you've taken the right steps by filing complaints with various legal entities, and sending a legal demand letter is a reasonable next move to potentially resolve the issue
 
Let’s hope it’s just some insane false positive and you eventually get a real human to review it properly. I honestly can’t imagine how stressful it must be having every linked account wiped like that.
 
Instagram is really bad now, im seeing this happen to a lot of people I know recently; one account goes down and after a while they take down everything. Wondering how did all your accounts get linked together? All on the same Instagram app or phone?
