Is anyone aware of issues with WPRobot not pulling articles from its 2 built in article sources? I am continuously pulling posts from the other options (youtube, ebay etc.) but am never pulling in actual articles.
Is this a known problem? Is there a way to add a custom article database?
Any help her would be great. Thanks

bfairo, just curious what version of WPRobot are you using?
 
I'm curious to see if this issue is resolved in the newest version 2.10 but its not letting me upgrade... I think the paypal email I originally bought it with is an address I haven't had in some time; so i'm quite frustrated.
 
change the ratio's to favour articles, also use good keywords which are found on articles rather than youtube videos
 
One of the article sources got taken out so articlebase.com (i think thats the one) is the only left to pull articles from. version 2.08 was suppose to correct any issues with pulling from articlebase.com
 
This issue with Articlebase started more than a month ago when they change something. There was a thread here somewhere about it. Yes, 2.08 did fix the issue.
 
I got my upgrade issue straightened out, and finally got 2.10, and it does seem to be pulling from article base, but im still pulling more youtubes than articles even though my probabilities say otherwise.
 
Please share the latest wprobot..(2.8 and up-- nulled) got the same problem.. just now.. using 2.7 :( Thank you very much

You have to change the probability settings. The higher the setting the more it will attempt to pull from that source.
 
Was that post just a straight up troll, or did you not read my sentence you quoted? It specifically said my probabilities we set up in contrary to the problem.

Guess I didnt read your post as closely as I should have.

Did you try posting just articles instead of relying on the probabilities?

No I haven't.. But mainly because I don't want 100% articles... I'm now upgraded to 2.11 which was supposed to have fixed an ebay problem, but im posting ebay posts with no auctions in them sometimes which is rather annoying.

BTW, what's the proper place to go log-in to ebays new partner program? Everytime I try to go log in to check my campaigns, its trying to send me to the old commission junction program that they ended.
 
I understand that you dont want just articles, but try posting 1 to see if there is an issue with your keyword or go to articlebase and enter your keyword there and see if you get anything.

ebaypartnernetwork.com is the only place I used when I applied to them. Maybe thats it.
 
haha... thanks pb, that ebay site sure is easy to find now lol.... i kept trying things like ebay.com/partnernetwork or partners.ebay.com haha.

and yes, i am now occasionally pulling articles from articlebase.
