When you use Wechat to chat with a Chinese person, when he types in Chinese words,
you long-press the message , can translate it intoo English
i think most of you know this trick.

Just now i posted some photos in my wechat group, there's english content in the pictures.
My friends (barely understand english, long-pressed the photo, Wechat scanned the photo then translate the english content to Chinese.)
The content in the pictures!!! --- I'm shocked!!! so powerful!

You can try it when you use Wechat, too!

Lol yeah Also many Chinese people have a habit of moving any random conversation to WeChat because it's easier for us to and for them to have a proper understanding.

Thanks for this information. I was just planning on brining Chinese girls to my whorehouses.

WeChat is even more powerful when you have WeChat groups from China offering loads of free Amazon items if you give them reviews. I have access to loads of these groups!!!

Nice to see so many chat apps out. I love Telegram personally. Such a well-coded tool, unlike Skype.

I've recently been trying to get onto WeChat - with Chinese friends struggling to help - and I am being asked for verification at sign up. This is supposedly done by someone from China/existing user entering a code that is sent to me from We Chat onto their device.. almost like some track record of someone verifying they know who I am. But it doesn't seem to go through and appears to be a new security feature - even to my Chinest friends...

Anyone have any tips?

(Sorry slightly off topic - was drawn into the thread)

They quite private groups, cant be allowing too many people in as that compromises the sellers and Amazon is quite clued on.

Google translate has this too, as well as a live translation, i used it to scan road/info signs in a foreign language
