Hello.
PayPal is very inconvenient as a third worlder' & I have this payment gateway as the best alternative for me.
https://razorpay.com/
They are pretty well respected in India & most sellers have it integrated. Its probably PayPal's biggest rival here.
The refund process for the buyer is safe as well.
Would you trust this as a buyer if you don't know this gateway?
Would welcome any opinions.

Cheers.

If you are using in India, it's very much trusted. I have razorpay on my website as well.
Are you going to use it to accept International payments?

Yes, Razor pay is a legit one. If it's about trust CCavenue for India, but they got a little strict procedure.

Yep.
I want to use it for international payments.
Just confused if it would care scare them away as it's not popular internationally.

I want international payments and razorpay has a good system.
Are you recommending CC for just Indian payments or international?

Right now, it's only popular in India. You should test the gateway to accept International payments for few days.
Keep an eye on your analytics and watch the cart abandon rate as well as cart success rate.
Based on the data collected, you can make an informed decision.

If you decide to do so, please update your progress here so we all know about it.

Yup, in-fact; I have used that gateway before as a buyer. I trust them.

As an American and just thinking from the perspective of the avg buyer. I would hesitate and ask for Paypal. Just my input as a buyer and not from a digital marketer perspective.

Before proceeding you should check out their terms and conditions for Prohibited Services which includes drop shipping, counterfeit goods, cryptocurrency, and bulk marketing tools. You might be able to use them for the first few transactions and would be later vetted by their team.

Thanks for the input.:)
If I was selling services here on bhw & razorpay would be the payment option would you choose it as a digital marketer?

Are you sure about dropshipping?
I've used them for dropshipping before didn't have any problem?
Infact I think they actively support dropshipping.
Other then that, (counterfeit goods, cryptocurrency, and bulk marketing tools) not my thing.;)
Thanks for the tip I'll talk to the customer support first.

Personally - no. I've never heard of the company. I trust paypal and/or payoneer for purchasing from service providers. I've passed up on services when they've asked for bitcoin or other payment options. Just not worth the headache in my humble opinion.

@Yellowcrow While I’m a bit sceptical about using unknown sites for payment as a buyer (and I honestly just heard of this site right now), I’m open to trying out new sites, and I have found quite a few helpful sites by just taking a leap of faith. I’d be willing to test this service out.
