Would you use adwords for a BST or is that daft ?

I was thinking of trying adwords to point to my BST to see if it generated anymore sales, would that be a waste of money ?
BTW I've never used any form of advertisement before except site banners and my profile etc.

It’s likely to be an inefficient way as there will be an additional step to converting a lead (they need to sign up to bhw).

Have you tried blackhatworld display advertising? Email shot? Renting signature space?

I have another BST in for approval if thats goes through I'm thinking of the mail shot.
You dont have to be signed in to see then click on the BST sales link though ?

I would advertise this using signatures, much better to target already users of our forum than cold audience that don't trust it.

I saw one site selling proxies who did this in the past..funny thing was...they use bhw even on their Ads copies on AdWords...

Secondly.. They had a link on their website pointing to their thread on bhw

It was cool...though adding your own mix is a must

You can try.

If you have lots of social proof, then people will buy.

They don't need to sign up to click on links or read the content.

Only if they want to reply to you.
