Would you pay for an SEO course?

I am interested in becoming a professional SEO.
I already know some SEO basics but would like
to know more. I was thinking that taking an SEO course
would help boost my skills so that I can start offering
professional SEO services to local companies. Recently,
an online SEO school that I have been thinking of joining
but wasn't able to because their price had been very high
decided to lower their price to $ 90 a month for students.
Once you pay the $90 you can access all their SEO courses.

Do you think that doing an SEO course is a good idea and will it help me
improve my skills?

If you post the name of the school then chances are that somebody here has already tried it and can then advise you if it is worth the investment or not. Alternatively, they could then download all course materials and resources and post in the Download Section.

To be honest you would probably be better off upgrading to JrVIP and just studying the wealth of information available here.

Forget about it - The time needed to put a good course together, the knowledge is old news. Stay informed by yourself - read the forums, not only this one - read the blogs...

If the course was $5, then maybe. Don't be surprised if just about everything you find in that course can be found on wikipedia or BHW

Don't pay for it. You are just going to waste money. You can learn it all by yourself.

My opinion is don't buy,i also bought some courses all of them are full of shit only fancy names.they will show you what they rank but you will not get any tricks.You can find very good tutorials from BHW and from Youtube also.

Depends on how reputable it is. If it saves times then its an investment.

I go with him to become Jr.VIP and the money varies according to the coaching center. Instead use the money to pay more for Internet bill and have a practical knowledge in home.

The name of the schools is Search Engine College.
If anyone here has joined it before please give me a review
on whether it was useful or not

Actually the time factor is one of my major considerations
since I can get all the info in just one month and it will be
all well organized

You can read many SEO guides here in BHW no need for stupid SEO courses,

Why do you need to pay for SEO Schools when you have a whole SEO UNIVERSITY right here on BHW !!

You wont learn the things in the SEO Courses that you can learn here form all the experienced SEO Members !

I guess that is also an option.

Actually I just checked again and the cost of
the course is $ 99 and not $90 as I had said

Depends on who's teaching it. For example, if Matt Cutts taught what he truly knows, I think many people would be interested in paying for such a course.

Unfortunately, that's never gonna happen. Google already has their guidelines. And in a few years time, the SEO world would have changed a lot, AI would be vastly improved. Good grammar is going to be more important than ever.
