Would You Mind Giving Me Advice?

Hey gang, I am a total noob to everything marketing and am looking for some help with my website. I have gotten up in the search engines for my main keyword but I still can't seem to reel sign ups in. I am thinking that I have to much on my main page. I have thought about taking it all out and just putting an opt in on the main page but I don't want to lose the SE rank if I take my content out. I thought it would be convenient to have the tools and resources on the right and left but maybe not.

The website is varolo co.cc my main keyword is Varolo.

I hate that this is my first post instead of something that contributes but I need help... Thanks

Well if I checked your website correctly it's a bit busy, possibly if it had a more direct approach and looked more trustworthy that would be a better start. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks Tbo53, If you don't mind me asking... How do I make it look more trustworthy? What makes it look untrustworthy? Colors? Text at top? Header? Please understand that I have done all of this and that this is my first website. I used a lot of Google searches to get html code. If you don't mind expanding on what you said, that would be great. I appreciate your 2 cents but was looking for maybe 10?

Lose or adjust the news feeds.

Try getting wordpress and use a template, it's simple and easy. Go on web2feel . com and you'll see what I mean, they're nice.

Had a look at your site and have a few points.

A) Load time is lousy, try to keep complete render time < 2 secs
B) Whats all that crap on the sides, your goal is to get people to contact you so stop diluting your funnel with hundreds of options (should see 10%+ conversion rate right there)
C) Whats going on with your type face, bold and size 18.... WTF
D) Get a real email no one wants to deal with someone@[email protected] at least have [email protected] (or whatever you name is)
E) The orange at the top hurts my eyes
F) That slide in text looks like a 12 yr old's power point presentation. You are looking to generate some authority, so look professional.
G) Get a decent domain something with a .com or .net

Just a couple of points off the top of my head...

Ok, I made some adjustments to the first site and I also remade one at varoloearnings

Please tell me what you think of each now.

I do want to make my site menu horizontal below the header but not quite sure how to do that yet. That way I can get rid of all of the blocks on the left side of the co.cc page.

I kept the new site short sweet and to the point. I am just using an autoresponder that came with ipages package, it takes a little bit of time to send that automated email out though.

I am trying to get something to be proud of here...

I am probably going to rewrite the first paragraph on the varoloearnings page as it slams marketers a bit... Not sure yet

Tbo53, I'm sorry I can't PM you yet. I need more posts. I just bought the domain last night and published it. The new one is a coooom domain. I am having trouble posting certain stuff since I am so new.

I do plan on working with WP once I can sit down and really dig into it and learn it.
