Would you like an Instagram Scraper like this?

Hi, I would like to figure out if you would be interested in an Instagram scraper with this features:

My idea is to create a scraper which scrapes the followers of an specific account. To do this, the scraper would require a list of IG accounts (ID and pass) due to each account would scrape 200 followers profiles max per hour to be safe and avoid ban for a lot of requests using the unofficial IG API (each account can scrape 200 profiles per minute).

So, using a rotation list of 60 accounts, in an hour the scraper would get info from 12.000 profiles (288.000 in a day if the profile has over that amount of followers, or if I add a profile rotator when finish with one).

In addition to that, if the scraper use a VPN, it would be able to scrape many profiles at the same time using a single own account (now, multiply the result 60 times if I had 60 accounts to run the scraper). That because the limit of 200 requests is for each instance.

The output, only for public profiles, would be a CSV file with this fields:

- User ID and URL
- Email*
- Phone number*
- Followers number
- Follows number
- Post numbers
- Description

* Email and phone numbers only if it’s available.

I would want to know if you like a software like this to develop one. ¿What price would you recommend? ¿What kind of software would you prefer, an .exe or a webapp? ¿Have you other interesting ideas?

As I know with jarvee you can do the same thing, but if your software has a better UX I would definitely use it

Thank for your reply @heycaptain , Yes, Jarvee is a similar software, but I have a question. Do you know if Jarvee has a limit of info to scrape? I saw other softwares and all put limits to the number of data extracted. My idea is that everyone would be able to scrape whatever they want if they have enough accounts to loop 60 per hour or a VPN. What do you think about this idea? Thanks again!

I am using this feature very often and I can say there are no limits in jarvee. And you can also add a proxy of course. These are the information was the scrape provide:

userID
username
full_name
is_private
follower_count
following_count
media_count
biography
hasProfilePic
external_url

contact_phone_number

isbusiness

But I do not know if all these functions work. I mainly use email, followers and followings. In general, scraping is really cool, because you have unlimited amount of email adresses for as an example cold emalining your products.

Hmm... I do not know the speed. But on jarvee this service is one of many, and a lot of people who do not know jarvee might want that. Users of jarvee do usually other stuff like some growth tactics...

If your service stands only for Instagram scraping you can definitely make money with it.

The software is advanced, I tested the critical feature, but I don’t decided yet about finish it until I can figure out the profitability and the size of the market.

@heycaptain I’m thinking in what other features might I add, this is one of the reasons of my post too.

Is it web based? Is it a script you need to run on your pc?

@FatBee currently it’s a pc script, but I thought about make the development as a webapp if it’s technically possible.

Ok, as I wrote before maybe it is good if you only have just the one killing feature and this is a fast, easy to use scraping.

@redarrow @heycaptain that's a good idea, One way may be to get the IG ID from Tik Tok and check if the people have public info in their IG acc. What do you think? But, what about the market size for this info?

Yes would be cool. Tbh I don't know the exact market size, but I think there are for everything enough people out there. The winning question is how do you find them?
