Well, there is no thing such as dating (Sex before marriage) in our society, culture, religion (w/e you want to call it). Women are too valuable to allow men sleep with them without any commitment or prove of worthy.

So, in this situation, I have no problem marrying a single mom. Of course she would be either a widow or divorced. But I find it ONLY suitable for men who were married before.

Yes why not... Just she need to be near about 27 to 32 year... :) And hot too...

No ways, too many singles out there for grabs - why do I need baggage?

I have never dated a single mom but try dating her.

Dating and relationship are two different things, if you develop feelings for her and go into a relationship with her then only you should care about the kid.

While dating, if you're not comfortable with her talking about the kid...

Tell her.

She might understand or stop dating you. You & her can see other people then.

Honesty saves time man. Tell her what you are not comfortable with and what all you're comfortable with.

I have friends who are with single moms and they are pretty happy :)

I'll make ya a method of how to scale that,

If the lady is above 6 it's okay
A kid is -2 ranking, which means she need's to be above 8. What's 8? That's your call already.

Find out how her previous 5 husbands died before you date her.

:D

Yes when I was doing my youngish, free and single bit I dated some single mums, and the reason it didn't become serious / longterm was I had just got divorced, had my own young son and didn't want to take on another persons child. I have kept in touch as friends with some of these women though.

For me it was a personal choice, but anyone who thinks a single mom is lower than themselves, is deluded. One of these 'single moms' I went out with was a former model, she had a great job, worked long hours, earned a boatload of money and still put her kids first.

Some people associate being a single mom, with being a 19 year old scrubber, mother of 2 living purely on benefits and having no ambition in life. They are not all like that.

So a woman who got pregnant at 29 is an idiot? Maybe she was a career person earning $500k a year and felt the time was right for her to have a child. Surely you meant 16 as opposed to in their 20s?

I have to say after reading some of the comments in here it sure gives an insight into people plus it answers why so many of you are still single.

Badly looking at some of your recent threads. I'd save your money and spend it on manicures for your right hand in all honesty.

Finally someone with balls. Maybe it's because of difference between our countries, but seriously in Poland, single/divorced mom is more like a hero, no one judge them like in this post. In my previous job, me and my colleagues organized lots of charity events to support the poorest single moms and people from our department was very happy to donate money, clothes etc. So there is something in my society that people have lots of compassion for women who have to raise kids by themselves.

I have a friend, she is a single mom, she and her boyfriend never get married because they didn't need a paper, they were 8 years together before they decided to have a kid, but when her daughter had 2 years old they decided that they didn't want to be together anymore. She is well educated, have a MBA, she is a manager in a big corporation, very successful, and she is very hot. Most of guys commenting in this post would be lucky enough to sit with her in one room :p

Ask your mom about me ;)

But you will get to a certain age that 99% of what you will be dating will have kids, probably why I never stick to a relationship, kids complicate things.

I'm sorry, I swear I am not laughing right now :D:D:D

I have a male friend. We know each other for almost 18 years. He always said that he will never ever have kids. NEVER EVER. I respect that because not every person has to have kids. But now he is 37 years old and he just had to change his perspective :D

Life sometimes has a bad sense of humor ;)

I'm turning 39 this year and it's not going to happen! Besides, I don't want to bring a child in this decade with all the BS going on in my country.

I meant that he had to change his perspective because like you wrote in our age it's difficult for him to find interesting women without kids ;) and he used to have this attitude that he didn't want to have anything in common with any kids... but now he is dating with a single mom and once again I swear I'm not laughing ;):D

Can barely take care of myself. PLUS, the fact that they'd most likely be willing to have ANOTHER child would scare me way too much to even consider sleeping with them.

Some of these answers...

I don't get why people that are offering or will offer service in the future on here, would make comments that are misogynistic. So many potential clients would turn to a competitor if they see those comments.

Consider the option if you are asked to choose between a brand new Ferarri spider and an old crashed one I believe Y' all know the answer :p

Hell yeah, why not?
Then again...I'm nearly 30.
Totally understand why somebody younger wouldn't want to.
