Would this method work to rank an amazon product page?

Hello,

I am just wondering if doing a 301 redirect from a good authority domain with great links to the url of an amazon product would work to rank it? Have anyone tried? What you guys think? Can amazon ban product?

If not what you guys recommend best strategy is?

@codeman1234 (aka Jack Bauer), one redirect will not be enough to rank. From what I have seen you mostly send normal links (in quantity), not redirects.
Amazon is not google and will not ban the product as (1) they do not look at backlinks like google would (2) negative amazon SEO would be too easy.
