This is not illegal in a criminal sense, but it is probably against your clothing employer's privacy policy. They could sue you if they found out.
Problem is, thousands of employees do this every day....it's a privacy nightmare out there and there's nothing anyone can do.

Even better OP, offer them some freebies from your boss's inventory. You don't even have to walk out with your stolen goods, just use his postage and packing. Result.
YES it is illegal, I am from germany and you can be 100% sure that if you live in a first world country this will not be legal.

I wouldn't do it. It's not really illegal imo, but still you can get sued for it.
