So, basically coming up a video really takes a huge amount of time. So I was wondering do I still get index if I post like 1 long video and 2 shorts per week?
Would I still get push from YouTube if I post less?

It doesn't matter that you publish less videos what matters the most is the topic of your videos and their demand on youtube platform. Even few videos can get viral. Focus on quality of the content and work on seo of the video including keyword research.

It depends.
The best would be look natural and what others are doing.
Then you can identify the issue and fix.

I mean it does look natural but just that I couldn't pump out that much video cause I was just started out learning video editing and stuff going on with youtube. I do see other people are able to create more than I could in a week, but just that it's a quality difference I guess? But yeah, I've been uploading consistently for 2 weeks but seems like yt still thinking I'm doing a niche that I'm not doing... (based on yt search term from audiences)

i dont think anyone really knows the answer if you are posting 1 video a day it is probably better just because you have more chances. However if you are putting out a video a day that are not that good and dont get good Engadget it could also negatively impact you. so if you can do one quality video a week i would just do that i believe quality is better then quantity
