Would buying this domain be worth it?

I've found an EMD domain (.com,.org,.net are free). It has very low competition (PR 0's and 0 Backlinks)

The local monthly searches are ~1000
The global monthly searches are ~22,000

It's in the niche of Watersports (Boats and such) so each product would be $500+ meaning I could potentially make $5 per sale (Not sure how much affiliate sites give you, but I'm assuming it's like 1%?)

Would this be worth the $4 for a .com domain?

you really need to ask? yes, of course its worth it, even 1 sale and you're in profit.

just make sure it's exact searches you were looking at rather than broad, as that's a common mistake and makes it look like the keyword is excellent when it's not.

Also, make sure that it's not a trademarked name. Check using the USPTO to be sure.
