I want to create 50 small-niche sites and get the traffic from Google with them. I know in terms of Seo there are no difference between .info or .com - But still .com looks way better then .info and Those sites when will start to earn should earn the domain cost back in 1day.
50 coms would cost me $400 to register while .infos only $50 . I have budget of $1k what I will spend for those sites including articles/promotion/backlinks so Spare money would be always good for some different things when I can save instantly $350 only on domains!
I plan to sell those sites later on as well.

So If you were in my situation Would you go for .info or .com ?

Can you go with few .coms and use subdomains? I like .coms too, but can get expensive when you gotta buy a lot at once. Maybe you can find a coupon here:
Code:
http://livecodes.blogspot.com/

how about maybe split them up and see what works best? ;)

like 25 .infos, and 25.coms

thats what i would do.

Thanks for the coupons , haven't seen 6.99 one you got there!

But seriously what's the point for subdomains? they look way worst then .infos!

I know what you mean.. but NO .infos rank as good as .coms in terms of seo!
I'm just talking about the look of them.

LOL -- yes, I guess you're right. Sometimes those coupons on that page are old, but sometimes if you've got a big order one of the percent off coupons is good.

maybe if you come up with a good name for a domain that can be used as a secondary word in your niche, like say you register world.com and lets say you have dogs as niche and make the subdomain dogs.world.com

that doesn't look to bad ^^

I know but still.. the niches won't be the same for all the domains- and it still looks worst then info.

If you have got the money to spend, then go for .com, otherwise .info sud do just fine. I seriously doubt that common masses consider .info to be inferior to .com. But then some people habitually add .com at the end of website name, and thus at times, u can lose some type-in traffic. For the organic SE traffic, both sud perform almost similar.

.info domains are really bad, I'd go with the .com

Yes, I'd rather have a .com than a .info, but, if you're planning on getting as many domains, a coupon will be handy.

.com more easy for seo, easy get top 10 on google #1 page rather than .info

are you planning ppc ads ? than .com and .com not so many different (also not so many different with sub domain) :)

I hope you know that what you just said is plain BS?

Also don't forget that if you decide to sell one of these sites down the road, that buyers are much more likely to spend more money for a .com site than a .info.

If you want to see what I mean, just go to someplace like flippa, and see whats selling.

On the other hand, more sites mean more possible revenue. and 50 . infos are only a additional $50 dollars, so why not make both? Then you would have 100 sites instead of 50.

To my mind, sites are like billboards next to the highway, even if the highway doesn't have very many travelers, the more billboards you have, the more potential money you make.

It won't help you with every domain you need to register but GoDaddy has $4 domain registrations for Cyber Monday with coupon code: cjcBLACK09

You can just keep creating accounts and creating new e-mails to keep track of them all(just use [email protected], [email protected] and so on), use the same password, and then forward all the addresses to one inbox. I'll warn you tho, it becomes tedious at renewal time so this is only if you're really trying to save a few bucks.

Hmm I would personally take a .com over .info like it was said earlier .com are used more commonly than .info. Though both can be properly seo a .com would Sell 10x more since you are eventually trying to flip it. Why dont you make half now set up everything flip it then make the other half . Then rinse and repeat

If you are going for exact match keyword domains...i.e. keyword.com v keyword.info the .com will rank much more easily for that exact keyword.

If you register at

Code:
www.name.com

you'll find fresh coupons for that at

Code:
http://www.domainpromocodes.com/promo-codes/name-com/

Talking from your experience, or what you hear on DP?
