Worth to Open Shopify Store in 2020?

Anyone open one recently and had success? You don't have to go into detail, I understand like with anything you need the right niche/time/effort. I used to have one back in 2015. I just need to know if its worth getting into at the moment or better direct time and money else where.

YES it still work, profitable and bring the money to the table.

At the end of the day, its an ecommerce website, ecommerce is the present and future and will always be profitable,
shopify is just a way to make a quick website up and running, when i hear shopify i automatically imagine dropshipping + facebook ads and this might be more competitive and harder than in 2015, but there are 1000s of other ways to promote using paid traffic.

I really wish to get into this as soon as I finish some other projects that I have.

I did however heard that the Corona Virus is making some impact on the eCommerce business, since people are getting afraid from ordering stuff online now - but as said once I finish some other projects I would love to get into this.

Depends on your business/marketing plan. Of course its worth it - if you know what you are doing.
