Hi everyone, :cool:
I decided to focus on Facebook outreach to promote my product/store, but I haven’t really used Facebook for about 8 years, so a lot has changed.
Right now, I’m not interested in mass spam or anything shady. I’ve manually collected a small list of around 150 groups where my potential customers are. My idea is to post relevant offers there from time to time.
However, Facebook already put me through about 3 reviews/verification checks, even though I’ve only posted around 10 posts in total. It feels like the platform has become extremely strict about any kind of promotion.
So I have a few questions for those who actively use Facebook for this:
What are the main limitations and rules I should be aware of today?
Is “warming up” the account still a thing, and is it really necessary in my case?
How often is it safe to post in groups without triggering restrictions?
Any practical tips on how to promote a store in groups without being treated like a spammer?
Again, my goals are completely harmless: no spam bots, no massive blasting — just targeted posts in relevant groups. I’d really appreciate any up-to-date advice based on your personal experience.

Please also take into account that products, namely cloud systems, are not entirely suitable for paid advertising integration.
A digital product that is unlikely to easily pass moderation, I chose groups that are specifically tied to the sales and purchases of cloud systems; these are my thematic clients.

Warming up account is more important than ever. You behave like a real human user, not a marketer
For a reactivated account, you should post a maximum of one post per day.
During the first 2–4 weeks, avoid any activities related to selling, and interact with other users slowly and naturally

Could you tell me if there are hidden blocks on Facebook? It's just that my posts aren't visible to group administrators. They're not rejected or accepted.
 
Focus on slow, value-first participation: warm the account by commenting and helping in groups for 1–2 weeks, post promotional content no more than 1–2 times per week per group (only where rules allow it), vary your wording, avoid links in the main post when possible, and build trust by mixing 80% helpful content with 20% soft promotion to stay under Facebook’s radar.

Yeah, Facebook can quietly reduce your posts’ visibility (a "shadow ban") so others (even group admins) see little or none of what you post without a clear rejection message. This happens when algorithms detect potential spammy/low-quality content or repeated promotions, and the platform deprioritizes or hides it from feeds/search without notifying you.

To avoid it, focus on adding real value, vary content, follow group rules closely, and reduce repetitive links/promotional text that triggers automated filters.
 
Facebook is not the best platform for this; it is better to use other social networks because Facebook moderators will constantly block your accounts.

What did you post that caused Facebook to ask you to verify your account?

You only need to maintain about 2 posts per day in each group.
Keeping your account active is necessary.

If the content you post meets community standards, they won't ask you to verify your account, and you won't be reported by anyone.
 
In my experience, sometimes your product is normal, but sometimes it might contain keywords that Facebook prohibits, or the image might be normal but include body parts like teeth, stomach, etc., which can easily lead to Facebook rejecting and issuing a warning.
 
Even regular products can be flagged by Facebook if they include restricted keywords or images showing body parts like teeth or stomach. Facebook Business Manager rules also change often, so it’s essential to get a legitimate BM account from a reliable agency. Consistent account care is key: post daily or every other day and gradually interact with your audience to build credibility
 
Post slowly and naturally, mix links with helpful content, limit to a few groups per day. Engagement matters more than just posting offers.

Take a subtle approach: participate in discussions, answer questions and sprinkle in your offers naturally. Accounts that look human and helpful rarely trigger reviews, even with multiple posts across groups.
 
By genuinely engaging in groups offering advice, sharing insights and gradually mentioning your products you create credibility and avoid restrictions far better than just controlling posting frequency.
