Wordpress will be dead soon

I'm really trying hard to work with Hugo, but it's so time consuming learning. If I need to get something up quickly, I use WP

definitely not, it sucks but I admit WordPress has been really useful to me back in the day. its just sad to see WordPress to sink

Really bad take. I'm not sure you understand why people use WordPress. WP is usually for consumer facing websites. I don't know in what world a small - medium sized local business would need serverless for a site that get < 1k visitors/month. Even larger companies are more than OK with WP. It's popular for a reason.

You're maybe confusing the rise of serverless with web apps. And in that case WP isn't designed for, and is a poor choice for building web apps.
 
It's funny, but I think it's too early to call WordPress dead. It still powers 40% of the web and thrives because of its flexibility, huge plugin ecosystem, and strong community. While no-code tools are great, they're not always scalable or customizable. Different tools suit different needs, and WordPress still holds its place.
 
I get what you mean—WordPress can be slow and messy with all the plugins. But it’s still super popular because it’s flexible and there’s tons of stuff available for it.No-code and serverless tools are cool for quick sites, but WordPress is better for bigger or more custom projects. Plus, if you set it up right, it can run fast and be safe.

The web’s changing fast, so trying new tools makes sense. But I don’t think WordPress is going away anytime soon—it’s just changing with the times.Which no-code or serverless tools do you like?
 
I don’t think it’ll. I stopped using fancy themes and credit to BHW to pointing generate press theme. Simple & efficient. And I feel over time they’ll evolve rather end

I don't think so. Way too many websites are still using it, and it is still the go-to tool for many when creating new websites. Yes, serverless and no or low code tools are on the rise, but it would take years before they kill WordPress.
 
with AI tools that are been integrated with WordPress I think it will have a rocking feature.
Wordpress is going to be a lot easier in coming years than it used to be.

I recollect that in 2015 I was manually editing html codes to add blocks/pods or custom design css on wordpress. Now with custom theme editors like Kadence, Elementor, etc its just super easy to build and modify sites.

with introduction of AI, it will be much more easiser further.
 
WordPress isn’t perfect, but many people still use it. It helps make websites easy and works well for SEO. No-code tools are new and good, but WordPress gives more control. It’s not going away soon. Different tools work for different people.
 
It's too early to say that dying, I think that WordPress is still a powerful, flexible solution. More than 500 million websites are powered by WordPress. This is not a simple or easy number.

In the early days of WordPress, blogs were ranked very highly, but after a while they disappeared from Google. I don't really understand what the problem is with this.
 
I don't know how much blogging is useful to everyone these days. I have a website but no visitors.
 
It feels like you hold too much of a grudge against WordPress, but I don't agree, my friend. Maybe these modern structures you mentioned can be built for personal websites, but I don't think what you're saying will be possible, at least not in the near future. Besides, WordPress developers aren't sitting idle; everything is becoming much cleaner, smoother, and faster.
 
WordPress still works well for many, but if speed, security, and low maintenance are your priority, newer tools can be a better choice.

I get it , serverless and low-code are faster and lighter, but WordPress still works if run lean. It’s not sinking, just an old ship that needs the right captain.

no it won t sink in the near future. a lot of small busnisses use wordpress for it s user friendy dashboard wich is very easy to use if you are not a programmer. to build a website using wordpress shouldn t take more than 2-3 days of reasearch wich is a better way than to hire some programmers to build it; and being built is not the biggest problem here, cause you ll need also to pay a monthly fee to those who did it for you just to modify things on it like price or producs update.
