Wordpress - summary of articles doesn't work

Hi, I'm sorry for posting this on bhw, but I've downloaded salient theme from download section. I currently have it on two websites, but on one when i go to post section, summary works and on the other site it doesn't. It shows the full text, which is pain in the ass with 2k articles. I've tried two switch it to full text and then back to summary, it didn't help me at all.
Does anyone expirience the same issue as I did? What i can do, to lose as little settings as possible?

Normally i would post this issue to wp forum, but since the theme is not bought...

I logged to my WP, went to posts and didn't find anything like you describe /=
