Yes, it is good even for more than one page website, but there is not sure if it makes any difference with adwords. For adwords it really does not make any difference if its wordpress or other.

If you are talking about "one page" that serves as a landing page, then there is no difference in which CMS you use because all the various CMS will give you more or less the same in terms of results.

wordpress is better anyday for better ctr ,
i created a campaign for my product i did a/b testing
a - i created a full wordpress website
b- only one page landing page with selected product
the result was more better in wordpress bcos mostly 70% of time the user visited all other pages too .
and for landing page the ctr was much less and bounce rate was too high.
