Wordpress Or Blogger?

Wordpress will beat blogger in all scenario

Blogger i think if you want to rank fast, Google love it. Wordpress if you want more customization.

I prefer Blogger because it is simple and easy to use. But many people are also wordpress.

Years ago I set up a free website via wordpress.com. After I'd done all the grunt work and put my articles on it I found that because I had a (FREE WORDPRESS SITE) I couldn't monetize it! It was against their rules. So if I'd have opted for a free blogger account I would have been able to. However, if you are hosting your own paid side then the wordpress software is brilliant! As mentioned above very customizable with tons of free plugins!

wordpress is better. Google makes blogger not to be a good option. your blog can be deleted anytime

If you plan to spend the time on a blog why would you choose to use someone else's platform. Hosting is dirt cheap!!! Start your own blog. Then you don't have WP or Blogger rules!

My vote for wordpress. Working with it for over 3 years.

I would anytime like blogger as Google loves it and we can get the backlink also immediately. Though wordpress is also not bad, I like its templates..:)

Dear BHW Guys,

I would like to have your opinion Wordpress and Blogger, which one is the most powerful? and why?

I always prefer for wordpress as it is very user friendly and it also having more plugins..

wordpress on your own hosting is always gonna be the best choice. there are soooo many plugins available for wordpress that this thread is pointless. WORDPRESS hands down is the best.

Actually from my personal experience I like Wordpress; since 2010 I have been using Wordpress for my personal blog and my business sites.

I will just say both. What do you want to do is the Question.

Both, in that WP on your own domain gives you maximum flexibility as to content, functionality and design, while Blogger gives you faster blog creation, indexing and ranking. You could create a WP blog then start a blogspot as one of the Web 2.0 properties linking to it, thereby getting both indexed and ranked faster. Or, you could start a blogger as a free testing platform for the niche you are working on, then move it to your own domain when you see the niche is indeed working.
