Backup buddy is good! Sometimes you can find it for $0 if you look around, just make sure its not a compromised download.

Its really easy. You just need to copy all the website files to new host. Then upload the database to new host, make changes in wp-config file to update the username/pass of the database and you are all set.

    Here's a step by step method: http://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/

Hello friend, I hope that you are doing well. I am a web developer and therefore able to know what you really want. Just writing to know that if you still need help to do that, then you can just get in touch and let us see the way forward. It is always a tricky exercse which requires the knowledge of experts because you can easily loose the website if you make small and petty mistakes. I am always available through the inbox and even through the skype id kevmurumba. Feel free to get in touch and let us keep moving forward.

You should backup everything, but you should only need to upload what's inside the public_html folder, everything outside is "generally" just server related files unless you added something there. But like I said backup everything just incase ;)

It seems to me your host support must help you to move your site.
