Thanks for all the advice guys, here's an update: Got my load time from 3-5 seconds down to less than 1 second by removing jetpack & yoast seo, and also setting up w3 total cache with cloudflare

Take a look if your hosting has statistics enabled which causes very often heavy load times on wordpress as they do not work good togther

Disable your plugins and see if it makes any difference; if it does, disable them one by one to to check which one causing the slow speed. And, activate WP Super Cache.

The problem is with your plugins, you probably didnt configure WP cache correctly.

Unplug all your unwanted plugins if you installed early and also make sure that your using images and theme these also may be the reason to get slow...
