Wordpress glitch

In wordpress under settings, writing, where you add ping list there is no box to add ping list. Posted on their forum and no response.

wierd... you're talking about the update services box, right?

my best bet would be to reinstall or update wordpress and see if that makes a difference. if your using a free blog from wordpress.com (ie. yourdomain.wordpress.com) then you wont be able to use the update services feature, it just wont show up period.

You should first check Settings > Privacy Settings.

For Blog Visibility, is the first option "I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers" selected?

If not, select it and you should be able to enter the Ping List.

the ping box is usually at the bottom of the screen and u will see pingomatic there by default. I believe it shows up once u click the "write" settings
