With this CJ Blackhat method, are there risks?

I am an old lurker, just felt the need to register today.

OK, so what I have is an advertiser, who has a product normally priced at 100$, and he pays 60$ flat in commissions - mind it, 60$ FLAT no percentage.

Now, what I have got are coupon codes for that product and it makes it 10$ Only! So, can it practically be done that I offer the product FREE to the users (I will return the users 10$) and get the flat commission of 60$ from the advertiser? That way, user get it FREE and I get easy 50$? Just with 20 free things, It's 1000$!

What are the possibilities of working it successfully or are there any risks for CJ account too?

Alternatively, if someone with a good CJ account is confident about this and would like to do it with me, I am all open.

you can give a try for 2-3 a/c.

I've had a CJ account for several years and I think you might get away with it for a bit but long term you'll probably get caught. Just my thoughts and it is generally the advertiser that is the one that catches you but I personally wouldn't do it with my current account.

Of course, you can create another CJ account and run with it for a while and see how that flies and if you lose the advertiser/account nothing ventured, nothing lost.

You can do that WHly by setting up your account as an "incentive" account. The catch is that if you transform your regular account, you then have to be re-approved by every advertiser - even the ones you don't do this with - and some of them won't work with incentive sites even if you promise not to give incentives for their offers!

So it's probably best to set up another account for that, if only to avoid the hassles and possible loss of your current advertisers.

If you read in the adverstiser requirement you will prob. see that they say NO COUPONS or You may use coupons. I say go for it! the only down side is that the advertiser will definitely see that your referred customers are all using that $10 coupon to get the cheap price. at the least they will deactivate the coupon.
