I just do not know why they do not all do drugs to level the playing field and make doing drugs fair
I'm just disappointed that Bradley "Wiggo" Wiggins was pulled from racing this year. He was a REAL athlete with no suspicion of being a cheat. The cycling world is so rigged and is very similar to F1 where Maclaren would tell Lewis Hamilton to pull back so that Jensen Button could win.
Sport is going down hill and cheating is on the rise. There's very little we can do about it.
More to add to that...
Failed drug tests for Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay
You just trolled me man. I thoght we talking about real drugs lol
I hang my head in shame to be a part of the sporting world when it's like this. Although I've never used drugs so I guess I'm one of the 'good' minority and not many other swimmers have.
I don't know if you watched the Olympics last year but I was there watching the Badminton and it was the worst sight to see - people purposefully diving away from the shuttlecock to lose the point so that they wouldn't have to face a harder opponent in the next round.
Team SKY Coach Tim Kerrison
Cycling and Athletics? we all know don't we but it's still a shock when one of them (or 2 today) gets caught, it has to be a lifetime ban for these guys, 2 years means nothing.
Italian Police Raid Jamaican Sprinters' Hotel
Haha indeed, I thought we were talking about other drugs as well
Nearly every pro athlete since the 1960's has used performance enhancing drugs, why is this even news?
The reason it is news is because there used to be millions of dollars to be made in sport...
All that has changed in the last ten - twenty years now there is billions of dollars to be made in sport...
That means the drug pushers are all over the competitors 365/24/7...
Because the stars take the drugs and the sellers make millions $$$$$$
That's why it is news as it is all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....
I will just go ahead and say Chris did not use any drugs. He is geting checked 1-3 times per day(!)
now some athletes are seeking genetic modification. a doctor made a treatment for people with musc.dystrphy ("jerry's kids") that causes tissue to grow by 25% in 4-6 weeks.
this is undetectable since there are no chemicals.
Link please, im interested in that.
They can only detect drugs that are known and added to the banned list. With all the pro athletes out there in the world making millions each, a scientist could develop a performance enhancing drug and sell it to a select group of people for alot of money.
don't have a link to the story. i heard about the procedure some years ago on the radio
and the doctor said athletes were bugging him to get "fixed" so they could cheat!
there should a race with drugs, to see witch drug is best
It'd be far more exciting too.
And I think Lance Armstrong should be given a bit of slack. To win all those Tour De France' on drugs is quite astonishing. I tried to ride my bike once whilst I was on drugs and I fell off straight away.
Even if people that cycle do give themselves a boost by using drugs, it is still pretty much the most physically demanding sport in the world, even with that enhancement.
