Hey everyone!

So MS just opened up a crowdfunding type of thing for their computers for college students. I just signed up since I started going to school this Spring and would love to get a new PC that I can use on the go!

I'm not new to the forums so I'm not one of those people that just recently signed up and started asking for things haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am in broke mode. If you help I can help you in exchange with a hosting account on my reseller. I don't have too many sites on it and would definitely give you a slot indefinitely if you can help a brother out :)

Btw my major is in photography. Doing this together with my wife hopefully to open a photo business!

You can view some of my work here: www.flickr.com/photos/capsloc

Anyway here is the link: https://www.windowschipin.com/Profile/51037cc5-8aaa-498e-b91a-6811aa6f081f

If this is inappropriate for the forums, admins/mods please delete the thread.

Thank in advance!

That's lame, even more so since you've been here for a while.

On the other hand this MS thing looks fishy even though it seems to be mentioned on sites like Engadget. It's either fake or MS have started using NameCheap with WhoisGuard to register their domains...

It's on their official facebook page, so I guess it's on the up and up. But I also thought it was fake.

Indeed it is lame. I found some success to IM, but other life issues never let me keep going. Family business and such and just really want to do something I really enjoy doing (photography).

I found it sketchy too, but I saw it on a press release on Microsoft.com: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/news/Press/2013/Jun13/06-03WindowsChipInPR.aspx
