are you saying you can't run a 32 bit operating system with a 64 bit CPU :questionm
Best thing is to get a chip that supports 64-bit systems, and then you can give yourself the choice of either one. You can install a different OS on different hard drives and just switch them out... this is highly recommended if you are using a laptop (WAY too much work if you are using a desktop)... This way, you don't even have to decide on Windows 7, 32-bit vs 64-bit, etc. You can just get them ALL.
I can run any OS when necessary (great for testing software compatibility and doing benchmark speed tests), however I NEVER use Vista. 'Nuff said!
