I watched the same video and agree, not a fan of the new menu bar. Apart from that, its mostly subtle changes like different icons etc

I don't know what Microsoft is playing at. Windows 10 was like some Frankenstein, half desktop, half mobile app monstrosity. Why would I want my desktop start menu to look like a cellphone? Why should they put a Notifications bar on my desktop OS -- half the reason I enjoy using desktop is not having to deal with smartphone BS.
And now this POS...I'll bet the only upgrades are
1) new UI again, because MS seems to be full of UI devs instead of people who can actually code OSes
2) more telemetry.

bruhhh you got me cracking with that reply, I pray and did anything in my power to keep Win7 jesus it was so good. but of course other would have conflict, browser ahhh
this look like a tablet why not keep it simple. they are ready to make us paid for the update, by 2023 or something then they will say we will no longer support Win10 blah blah

It's passable as an Upgrade, but an new OS lol
Seems like we are repeating Win 7 to Win 8 to Win 10's situation.
Spoke with @Gogol and possibility the backend core would have the major updates.
I would want windows to focus more on productivity & folder customizations.
Making a big deal out of "centering taskbar" is a meme honestly.
Heck, Mac had that for years
I truly wonder how long they spent on "perfecting" that new Windows startup sound.

Microsoft is Microsoft because they copy Mac.
Hopefully Windows 11 will have proper GPU acceleration, I don't really like the idea that my GPU is of no use to me other than gaming.
Imho, he really should get rid of that beard, he looks like a guy who is "High".

Update: The menubar can be placed in it's usual position, but you will have to have an activated copy of win 11 for that. Nice!

Microsoft has been dropping hints that it’s ready to launch Windows 11. The software giant is holding a special Windows event to reveal its next OS on June 24th. The event starts at 11AM ET, and the event invite includes a window that creates a shadow with an outline that looks like the number 11. Microsoft execs have also been teasing a “next generation of Windows” announcement for months, and this leak now confirms that Windows 11 will be officially revealed later this month.

They will fix them afaik. The preview is just a dev build, nothing else. But don't expect the updates to stop lol.

Yeah, I meant even Windows 10 has so many inconsistencies in terms of fonts, colours, menu layouts. macOS is way more polished (still wouldn't go back to it though)

I will never leave macos, because it is so eye catching and easy to use. But, coming to win 11, trust me; it will be a lot more polished than win 10. Fingers crossed.
