I want to learn piano,but my friends said my fingers not suit for it .

My feeling now is anger and sad. Will I go on for it or just give up.

What do you think ?

he just said your not suitable for it... so don't do it... If he also said you're not allowed to breath so don't do it either...

With some of the posts we have had recently I am not so sure.

We really should get a dedicated "Agony Aunt" style section to put all of these bunk posts in.

Take up carpentry, it doesn't require sensible fingers. Also, you should take an interest in going off-line for an extended period of time, good for your health.

I tried to play the piano, but the instructor told me my fingers are too stubby and my manual dexterity was awful, so I would likely never learn to play piano with any skill.

Since I play a numerous instruments, I decided they did not know what they were talking about and I can play anything I want. Besides that, my mom told me I can do anything I set my mind to when I was growing up.

Turns out they did, I can't, and my mom lied.
