I want to learn piano,but my friends said my fingers not suit for it .

My feeling now is anger and sad. Will I go on for it or just give up.

Take up carpentry, it doesn't require sensible fingers. Also, you should take an interest in going off-line for an extended period of time, good for your health.

I tried to play the piano, but the instructor told me my fingers are too stubby and my manual dexterity was awful, so I would likely never learn to play piano with any skill.

Since I play a numerous instruments, I decided they did not know what they were talking about and I can play anything I want. Besides that, my mom told me I can do anything I set my mind to when I was growing up.

Turns out they did, I can't, and my mom lied.
