Will Web 2.0 Wrok in 2015?

I just recognized that Google Page Ranks are getting dead (but i know there are several people who are engaged with finding high PR website)

But as per my last BHW thread discussion many SEO experts proved that now there is no value of Google Page Rank,

Now its about the web 2.0 which is almost depends to fined the high PR sites for posting our website link.

Now the question is that will web 2.0 work in 2015 in our SEO plans, or it would be just a waist of time.

For me web 2.0 still working and it will work in 2015 also, Just use readable content for your web 2.0

Would you like to share your Web 2.0 plan? like how many blogs you did in a week and how many social media you did in a week and how many wikis you post in a week?
 
Web2.0 plans will work in 2015 because the links which you'll get have authority.

Humans know that 2014 is going to end and 2015 is coming, but thankfully Web 2.0's don't know that. Hence They will continue to work... :D
 
I haven't heard page rank mentioned in awhile. So maybe do some research with the resources here and on SEO blogs and get up to speed with some of the current metrics.

It seems like you're connecting weird dots or you're trying to draw lines where there are no dots or something of the sort to come to your conclusions.

And as to what will work.. I would just do your own testing and see for yourself. What does it cost you to go out to a web 2.0 site right now and build a profile and some content?

I can tell you now that your own testing will be worth 1000X more than any advice you get.
 
Page rank isnt "dead", you just don't know what website has what pagerank anymore. They just aren't updating - Google never mentioned that they are not taking PR into account when ranking a website. If you can roughly estimate a websites PR, you can still utilize it, and PR is and has always been the most effective way to rank tougher keywords. So when you build a good Web 2 and built a strong tier 2 towards it consistently, it will get a PR boost (even though you won't know, other than the effects on your ranking).

I totally agree with this. G may not have updated the PR but I think it's still a factor in ranking site. Web 2.0s also still are gonna work next year although I wish that the blogspot platform be put to rest.
 
I'm sure, these type of threads wouldn't stop coming in 2020 as well.

@OP: Nothing is dead or gonna died in SEO, even the forum profile links works. Yes it does, all you've to do is use them on lower tiers.
That's the main reason softwares like XRumer are still getting updated.
 
Nothing is useless, As long as you know how to play, and do things in the right way, it will always work.
 
I think they will work like they have always been, but they would be better suited to add diversity to your backlink profile.
 
Sure, they will work, thwy will stay as strong as they are now
 
One thing which is not dead is the need for people to start this thread twice a day. This will be true in 2015 and 2016 alike.

You would be right about it... but keep in mind humans are creating the strategy for SEO sit in the Google's offices... they are not robots...
