Not sure about that. If US joins Bitcoin instead of banning it it'd be the greatest bull run in history, so there's that too.

I don't see how it would benefit them to join bitcoin, they depend on the dollar. They have no control with bitcoin except taxing. They cant print bitcoins if needed, but they can print dollars. I strongly believe that when bitcoin proves a threat to America, they will find a way destroy it and bring it down.

I have bought btc localy for a lot of cash, and seen local transactions of more then 50k taking place regulary, don´t pretend that you can only buy for 500 localy among real contacts in IRL, if you think that, your delusional. End of story.

To be fair I agree.

The whole point of bitcoin is that you own them, using third parties like coinbase is just saying "coinbase owns my bitcoin"

The proper way to use bitcoin is for you to have the private key, and your private key holds the bitcoin. Therefor it doesn't require any verification for you to send them or receive them.

If you use coinbase or other third parties, then you are using bitcoins stored on their private key, which defeats one of the objectives of bitcoin in the first place.
 
They will ban it Believe me not yet but they will.

They find a way they always do.

And it defeats the purpose of having a decentralized digital currency as it was meant to be.

To be honest I hope they do, it would make Bitcoin MUCH more valuable
 
Nah, Countries will establish theire own crypto based currency. Like digital dollar or euro. They allready in process and will not waste time for bitcoin.
 
I don't think so, western countries especially the USA are big on free Trade. So, it won't happen.
 
If they ban crypto, they would further justify its necessity to its user base.
 
Never an ever bitcoin is ain’t host by USA and they do have low shares in bitcoin mining wallets unlike China the dominator
