With AI, are people still using websites, visiting Google to do searches or nowadays we should only focus on social media + AIs? Can websites made in 2026/2027 still be profitable?
But don’t you think a lot of it will eventually be taken over by LLMs? Most queries are already being answered directly by ChatGPT and Claude, while many of the remaining ones are being addressed through Google’s AI snippets.Cool viral websites that are primarily interactive based, rather than on hard sell text based blogs are where its at. Build something that is MEANT to be shared on socials by others, and compared together by a generation.
Anything with a persons unique art, animation, and interactivity, AI is cooked. Period. lol AI is the new "blog format" now for consumers only really. But consumers still want to have fun and learn. I don't think that will go away any time soon. And its up to us, to tap into that, and build the type of sites, that people share and get excited about i think. But don’t you think a lot of it will eventually be taken over by LLMs? I don’t think websites offering actual services are going anywhere, but I do think it’s going to be a tough time for traditional blogs and informational websites that mainly rely on organic search traffic.
