I feel like its a stupid question but I don't want to lose my content on my site. At the same time I don't want to copy paste my whole site to a document if I don't need to. Thanks in advance.

No you will not loose any content.
just use the preview button you are in doubts

Phew. I really felt like it was stupid question but I had to ask lol.

You'll keep your content including posts and pages. What you might lose is some individual bits of data you added for that specific theme. Your next theme may be setup differently. Another thing - you should also backup your website now and then.

Hey, the content is only deleted if you delete it or someone with administrator privileges deletes it. However, changing the theme is harmless. :)

Absolutely not. You won't lose anything when you changed your template, except the analytics. Better copy first the codes you've previously installed in your template before you plan to change. :)

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP ALWAYZ!!! :)

Code:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/

Backing up WP via phpmyadmin (if you are comfortable with that

Ditto. You won't lose anything but backup always.

You should get the plugin wp-db-backup at

Code:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/

That way you won't forget and as said before you will not lose your content by changing your theme.
