All corporations die. The oldest company was established in 578 AD, so Google will die, we just don't know when.

They will keep adapting or build/acquire new tools. Look at Facebook. It's dying and Mark knows it so he is focusing on other platforms like Instagram/WA and AR/VR (Oculus) etc.
Other gaming companies will be dead because of facebook's meta just like it killed forums and chat rooms. good bye GTA

Well for sure it will not die but it will be replaced by a better company in the future specialized in search engine

Tiktok is already taking some of their percentage of seacrhes. I use the TikTok search bar sometimes, it all depends on what I am looking for and Seo practice s already coming into play with their search engine. I almost forgot; they are running ads on their platform encouraging users to use the search bar.

I think I will die before Google dies unfortunately.
Google became a verb and even is someone creates a better search engine someday, I am not sure it will kill Google.
I could see Facebook/Instagram disappear at some point because the model is based on addiction but on the other hand Google has became a no brainer when you look something online.

It's impossible to predict the future, can it die? yes, will it die any time soon? highly unlikely (but you never know).
If we go 2.5 years back in time, would you believe that in a few months the whole world would go through a global pandemic so severe that every corporation would shut down and we would all be working remotely? what were the chances of that? highly unlikely. But it did happen didn't it?
t's impossible to predict the future, but realistically at this point Google is dominating and for good reason, they are the best at what they do. They may have some competition in the future, but the competition would still take forever to catch up. Google is a giant with a ton of resources and they have several channels to pull users from (Google Chrome, Google Apps, Gmail, Google Docs, YouTube). There is so much integration that it would take a miracle to outperform a company of this magnitude.

Google will die. We just don't know when. It might be 50 years from now or 500 years from now, we don't know. Just like Standard Oil and the East India Company which during their times, were considered too big to fail.
I think the biggest threat to Google is antitrust. Government will deem it a monopoly and force it to break up into smaller companies like what they did to AT&T.
