Same old bloody misery for us poor English! Italy thoroughly deserve to go through though.
 
and we're out, is why i stoped watching before I even started. i.e. right at the start of the euro games.

Did i say something about English defensiveness? Horrible, just horrible "football" played by them today against Italy. They didn't even try to attack.
 
For all the hype in the UK especially from Sky TV, the England players have a severe lack of quality...in all positions. Other than Gerrard and maybe Rooney (maybe) the rest just dont enough technique.

Spain to win it..even though the Germans look good.
 
Was a really good game and I wish England would have won, they performed way better and since I am German i don't like facing Italy in the semi final, England would be a way better Opponent.
Still gratz to Italy for the win.
 
Spain takes it home once again, and if someone can stop them, it's Germany.

It's going to be hard for italy to win against Germany in the next game. Only with some luck & solo-moments from Pirlo and Ballotelli.

In what way did England perform better??.

Italy were a country mile better with almost all of the second half camped in the England half.

Your right about one thing, England would be an easier team to play in the semis.

Honest to god what a load of rubbish.

Italy completely dominate England with more than double the passes.

Did you watch the game?. Tell me please with those stats... AND with the German captain Philipp Lahm already saying they'd prefer England as "Italy provide a sterner test" (Read: as an easier option) How do you come to that conclusion?

Good for you...but they're still shit. Fifa rates them top 10....must be ranked on simply on effort because thats all theyve got when it comes to playing the big boys.
 
Beautiful football from England tonight, the defence was spot on and we had loads of breaks.

Not sure why so many haters, kinda confusing. Italy was the 2006 world cup winners and England held them from scoring for 2 hours, I guess some people don't really understand football.
