I have worked for years for a very important European publishing house. "Printed reading" has been going through VERY difficult times because of the Internet, and it's becoming worse and worse every day. Now, most published books in Europe are released in digital form, because printed books don't sell that much any longer. My two cents.Digital reading didn't kill printed reading.
I hope I'll not because I've read many articles and videos. All they have proved is that chatGPT is not a 100% solution. Blog or web 2.0. It all time best solution. You can read this article https://neilpatel.com/blog/how-ai-will-impact-search/So I have been reading a lot about the capabilities of the new ChatGPT and wondering if bloggers like myself have a future? Multiple sources have highlighted how ChatGPT seamlessly and effortlessly provides answers to questions and complicated codes. It therefore will mean, people don't need to search on Google for them to read through series of search results.
Why my fear is that the revenue generating module on Google is to make money from ads by placing them on blogs and other mediums. So, if ChatGPT truly kills Google, blogging will perish as well. Am I crazy?
What do you say guys?
