yes i agree with your commentsI personally think that ChatGPT will come very close but Google's own AI will probably rise fast to the occasion. I do not think that SEO will end but that it will change with the newer technologies and methods.
I prefer to use my brain when looking for some service/purchase/order, etc. Let's say I need to buy a toy for my child, I will not rely on AI to do this, I want to look at the pictures myself, read the description, see some reviews, compare prices and shipments, etc., etc. So I must visit at least 2-3 websites and make MY OWN decision. So SEO is and will be needed.
But for sure there are a lot of people who need assistance all the time, so they do not have to think even for a second)
ChatGPT is a very powerful and useful tool for developers. I stopped searching Google for queries related to programming because ChatGPT gives better answers in seconds. I would bet stackoverflow will lose at least 10% of Google traffic soon.
Apart from that, chatGPT will have zero impact on Google SEO as it's not accurate, updated, or informative, and moreover, the answers are not elaborative. Google will stay as it is now for at least the next 5 years.
how it end google seo?
when we use ai tool for google SEO?
I'm happy to know that I'm right. But I don't know whether we should take it as a good sign or not. ChatGPT's answers are based on the data collected from the StackOverflow website only. It saves our time by giving precise answers. But if we stop asking new questions in the forum, upcoming developers would find it difficult to get updated answers for their new questions. So, we should support the forum as much as we can. It's already losing traffic to ChatGPT. Source - https://www.similarweb.com/blog/insights/ai-news/stack-overflow-chatgpt/
I hope there more people in this world who are not completely idiots who needs assistance and "ready answer" all the time... its not about seo only, its about everythingSo you think SEO will be needed because you like to use your brain when buying a toy for your child? That is just a personal anecdote with nothing to back it up.
Very True!AI-generated content will surely take over quick informational searches, where people want quick answers. No doubt.
For commercial queries, I think SEO still has its place. Even if AI can generate answers, they still need to extract fresh data/information from the SERPs.
Say you search what shoes to buy, AI will generate answer based on its training data and also from the fresh data gathered from top SERPs. If your site is high on serps, it's possible that your source is used to generate answers for users and provide a link to the source which will lead to your site.
SEO still remains strong but the way to do SEO will change for sure.
Google has announced that we can use GPT chat, but if it's auto, it will not be accepted.Have you ever wondered if ChatGPT could potentially disrupt the world of Google SEO?
Let me explore some different perspectives in this topic.
Now, we all know that SEO is the backbone of digital marketing. It plays a crucial role in driving organic traffic and improving visibility on search engines. But currently some brands are doubling down on their SEO efforts while others seem to be chasing their tails, wasting time on futile 'what if' scenarios.
We've seen companies come and go, attempting to dethrone Google, only to fade away into obscurity. Remember when Ahrefs invested a whopping $60 million into building their own search engine? Well, the majority of us probably haven't even heard of it, let alone used it.
The truth is, changing ingrained human behavior is no easy task. It's like trying to turn an ocean liner on a dime.
This phenomenon isn't exclusive to search engines; it extends to social media platforms as well. Remember the hype around Clubhouse? While it attracted a surge of users in the short term, it failed to make a lasting impact. People naturally default to their path of least resistance, which often involves a quick Google search.
So, where does ChatGPT fit into all of this? Well, some speculate that the rise of AI-powered conversational agents like ChatGPT could potentially disrupt traditional SEO practices.
With the ability to understand and generate human-like text, could ChatGPT become the go-to source for information, surpassing the need for search engines altogether?
It's an intriguing thought, but let's remember that SEO is deeply ingrained in our digital ecosystem. The expertise, algorithms, and infrastructure that Google has built over the years are not easily replicated. While AI models like ChatGPT are impressive, they still have limitations and rely on curated data.
While ChatGPT and similar technologies are undoubtedly fascinating and have the potential to enhance various aspects of our digital experiences, it's unlikely that they will completely replace the Google Search. Smart marketers and companies who understand the value of long-term strategies will continue to reap the benefits of tried and true SEO practices.
Do you believe ChatGPT could have a significant impact on Google SEO? Or do you think traditional SEO will remain strong?
