Will bitcoin reach 50k?

Why not? It will surely grow as long as is alive.
 
I will be happy with it reaching 15k as today I invested 3k on it, after that I dont care what happens and also hope that there wont be any more Bitcoin threads like this as they are getting quite boring now.
 
Well it will definitely hit 100k one day and not just 50k
I started investing in btc when it was at around 400$ thats when there was a lot of hype
I had invested 5k$ back then and had taken a loan with heavy interest from my friend. Today its at 10k$ which means i made almost 35x my money. I'm very happy right now. But I am not going to withdraw a penny and keep it invested for 10 years at least !
And oh btw i already repaid the loan :p
 
In order for it to replace traditional money, a single Bitcoin will have to be valued close to $1m

How do you come to that conclusion. I'd say there is far more chance of the bubble bursting, then it just hovering around in the 100s low 1000s.
 
It will 100% reach 100K $ sooner or later.
I just remember the days that Bitcoin was less than 100$ and I thought it was the most useless currency and I was always trying to get rid of it. Now I want to slap myself.
 
Can we have one bitcoin thread pinned at the top? Seems like every day there are new 'will it reach ....' and 'bitcoin passed ...!!!' threads.

i'm not making any predictions, but all these people complaining about bitcoin without even understanding it and then making uneducated guesses should maybe first do some research. just watch this to get an idea of what bitcoin (or crypto currency in general) really is:
